FAMILY TREE
The Centro Mater Family Tree is comprised of kind-hearted individuals who have established a commitment to make ongoing donations to the Centro Mater Foundation. As each contributor makes Centro Mater’s Family Tree stronger, each member is called a “Giving Branch.”
Giving Branches join a network of charitable individuals while supporting our community’s future.
The group’s Family Tree name is a nod to Centro Mater’s history.
In principle, the organization began in 1968 under the shade of a Little Havana tree, where Mother Margarita Miranda Otero met with immigrant children after school to care for them while their parents strived for financial independence.
Contributions made through the Family Tree program will support Centro Mater’s various initiatives.
The Centro Mater Foundation’s Board of Directors encourages you to branch out and commit to ongoing donations to Centro Mater as a member of our Family Tree.
There are four levels of Giving Branches, all of which help us grow.
Platinum Giving Branch
$250 a month or $3,000 annually

- Be included in Family Tree materials and displays

Gold Giving Branch
$150 a month or $1,800 annually

Silver Giving Branch
$75 a month or $900 annually
- Receive commemorative Family Tree pin

Bronze Giving Branch
$20 a month or $240 annually
